Rytec PredaDoor edge resistors: 1.2K and 8.2K source conflict

The 2025 owner and installation manuals give conflicting coil-cord resistor guidance. Identify the installed generation and confirm the correct component with Rytec.

Identification details & limits

Reference identifier: Rytec PredaDoor edge resistors: 1.2K and 8.2K source conflict. Compare each listed detail with the exact product and the source document. Do not submit a personal serial number or access code to this website.

Identification and scope details from the cited sources; each row retains its source locator.
Unresolved 2025 source conflictThe June 2025 installation manual says PredaDoors starting in 2023 use 8.2 kOhm resistors, including its coil-cord diagram. The July 2025 owner parts list still labels 00141005-0 as 1.2K for coil-cord and 1210832-0 as 8.2K for wireless. The overlapping documents do not resolve which exact part applies to an individual door. Neither source establishes a replacement or retrofit approval.
Wireless ring-terminal resistor: 8.2K label1210832-0
Coil-cord ring-terminal resistor: 1.2K label00141005-0
Configuration distinctionThe parts list assigns 1210832-0 to the wireless arrangement and 00141005-0 to the coil-cord arrangement. It does not establish that either may substitute for the other.
Handed assembly labelsThe non-drive-side assembly labels are 1060038-1X for a left-hand-drive door and 1060045-2X for a right-hand-drive door. Individual block orientation reverses on this side; match the serial-specific arrangement.
Electrical limitsThe 2025 resistor entries do not supply resistance tolerance or power rating. The separately cited 2020 specification applies to R00141122 only. No wiring procedure is supplied here; identification does not authorize changing the sensing circuit.
Serial number and manual scopeThis reference identifies parts in Rytec manual 1060730-0, Rev01 (07/25), which covers PredaDoor NXT and PredaCool. Match the installed door serial number, drive hand and configuration with Rytec before ordering. Shared manual coverage does not establish that every part fits both models or every custom door.
2020: R001411228.2K,1%,0.5W resistor. Condition: non-drive side only. Table quantity: 1.

2020 edition boundaryThe added 2020 entries apply only to R1060169-0 Rev AD (February 21 2020). Earlier facts on this page keep their own cited revision. R, P and RS prefixes and full suffixes are retained as printed, without cross-edition aliases, replacements or universal model fitment. Match the installed serial and configuration with Rytec.
