Genie’s backup list names 4164, 4124, 4064, 4024, 3064 and 3024 as add-on eligible. That is different from a statement that every installed unit already includes a battery.

The 3124H brochure separately documents integrated Wi-Fi, belt or chain options and a 140 V DC motor. Its non-Wi-Fi comparison names 3024H specifically; that H-suffixed comparison is not transferred to the bare 3024 label.

For 3064, the exact support page also links a belt/chain installation sheet while Genie separately identifies 3064 as screw drive. Use the owner manual here and obtain an installation document matched to the complete installed configuration.

If your opener is labeled Genie Pro TriloG 1200 or 1500, check CPSC recall 14-114 in the sources. Coverage depends on the notice’s exact product identity and serial prefix; 3064 or 4064 alone does not establish coverage.
