Optional edge or sealAries accepts ME123, CPT215 or LS-0107 in its channel. These optional components are separate; the loop seal is not an electrical sensing edge.
Controller versus stripAries and Orion controller LEDs use pulsing white for motion; the door strip uses flashing red. The two indicator locations must not be conflated.
Phoenix indicationPhoenix uses a motion sensor and inductive charging. After reaching open or closed position its indication lasts about six seconds, then turns off; it is not the always-on Orion/Aries behavior.
High-speed boundaryThe reviewed Aries, Orion and Phoenix sheets each say not recommended for high-speed doors. General high-performance wording does not remove that restriction.
